There are lots of health services available but sometimes it’s hard to know which one is right for you.  When you call NHS 111 you will be assessed, given advice and directed straightaway to the local service that can help you best.  That could be a late opening pharmacy, an emergency dentist, an out of hours GP, community nurse, minor injuries unit, urgent care centre or A&E department. NHS 111 can also send out an emergency ambulance if it is needed.
